We are currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the Holoholo Market - Turtle Bay location!

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supervising, directing and managing all phases of store operations. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the day-to-day management of the store, obtaining maximum sales and margins, ensuring maximum standards of customer service, the development of staff and meeting all targeted projections and goals through the effective utilization of available personnel and resources. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for coordinating and directing the overall store operations in the absence of the Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service under the Company’s World Class Service Program throughout the store. This includes growing sales, enhancing profitability, providing World Class Service, offering unique, high quality products in an inviting, customized environment and building strong relationships with all associates where our customers are the top priority. The Assistant Store Manager is a role model and leader and must solve problems, make informed decisions and manage the operations wisely in order to achieve maximum results.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1+ years of retail experience in a supervisory role. Previous retail customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma and/or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of electrical equipment, department equipment including sharp objects and the methods and materials used for food preparation.
  • Ability to accurately handle special requests from customers and to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of all items sold in store.
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, hear, speak and understand English to communicate effectively with customers, employees and other members of management.
  • Ability to compose and write reports and other business correspondence.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to perform complex mathematical equations for working on cost effective scheduling, gross profit percentage, budgeting and gross profit.
  • Ability to delegate job duties, manage, lead, develop and motivate managers and associates to ensure that store operations are running effectively.
  • Must be able to maintain an average or above average evaluation rating.
  • Must possess a demonstrated knowledge of company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Ability to run all departments in accordance with all safety programs. Must be able to operate computerized systems.
  • Must be a motivated and hard-working self-starter who takes initiative to ensure that all tasks are performed accurately and in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, creative, productive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Must comply with all company policies and requirements.
  • Must possess a valid TB Clearance.
